Did you know this hidden beach in Tobago can only be reached by boat?
Welcome to Cotton Bay, one of Tobago’s most untouched and beautiful places. Hidden along the island’s north-west coast, Cotton Bay has remained wild for generations because it was so difficult to reach. Long ago, only local fishermen and villagers from nearby Castara and Moriah knew of this secluded bay.
Its name may even date back to Tobago’s plantation era, when cotton was one of the island’s major crops.
Today, Cotton Bay still looks much like it did hundreds of years ago, with crystal-clear water, thick rainforest and complete peace. Looking at this view, it’s easy to see why it remains one of Tobago’s best-kept secrets.
