Nestled along Tobago’s scenic Northside Road, Craig Hall Waterfall is a lush tropical cascade known for its easy access and stunning natural beauty. Beyond its scenic charm, it holds a special place in cinematic history as one of the filming locations for Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson (1959).
The waterfall and surrounding jungle were used for some of the movie’s iconic action and adventure scenes. This history is documented in The Disney Film Heritage of Tobago – Swiss Family Robinson by Jazad N. Ali and Clement G. Williams (first edition 2020), which chronicles Disney’s time on the island and the filming locations they utilized.
Today, Craig Hall Waterfall remains a must-visit for nature lovers and film enthusiasts, combining Tobago’s natural beauty with a piece of cinematic heritage.
