Named after the giant leatherback turtles that nest on nearby shores, La Tartaruga is Tobago's premier Italian restaurant. Offering a choice of al fresco dining on our covered terrace or in our indoor restaurant, we serve only the very finest Italian cuisine: homemade pasta, fish and rock lobsters, in-house desserts and Gelato. A full vegetarian menu is available. Herbs are homegrown, breads are home-baked, and only the finest olive oils, olives and cheeses are imported from Italy, while local ingredients are sourced from the best suppliers on the island.
