The ferry takes 2 half hours to travel between the islands at a specified cost:

Senior & infant Passenger Fare:
Children 2 years and under travel free on the Trinidad & Tobago Inter-island Ferry but require a valid ticket.

* Senior Economy Class Ticket: $25.00 (one way) & $50.00 (return)
* Passenger Ferry Senior Premium Class Ticket: $150.00 (one way) & $300.00 (return)

Note: Senior citizens (60+ years) are eligible for a travel ticket upon presenting a valid Trinidad & Tobago national ID or passport. This applies only to Trinidad and Tobago nationals.

Adult Passenger Fare:
* Adult Economy Class Ticket: $75.00 (one way) & $150.00 (return)
* Adult Premium Class Ticket: $150.00 (one way) & $300.00 (return)

Note: An adult is referred to any person 12 years and over.

Child Passenger Fare:
* Child Economy Class Ticket: $50.00 (one way) & $100.00 (return)
* Child Premium Class Ticket: $100.00 (one way) & $200.00 (return)

Note: A child is referred to any person from 3 years up to 11 years.

Vehicles & Passengers
* The following rates apply to private (P), rental (R), and hire (H) vehicles, which are considered non-commercial

One-way: $146.73 (driver cost excluded)
Return: $244.58 (driver cost excluded)

Note: A vehicle ticket must include a passenger's name, and the passenger's cost is added to the vehicle ticket price.

A vehicle ticket can only be sold to an adult with a driver’s permit.

Photo ID must be presented upon check-in.

Tickets are available at several travel agencies and ticket outlets on both islands.
